WHAT HAPPENED?
The Barcelona loanee could remain out of action for up to nine months as confirmed by PSV as he suffered a horrible knee injury during training on Saturday. On Wednesday, the Eredivisie side shared an update on their defender's condition where in a video, Dest was seen undergoing rehab on a crosstrainer.

Dest has not featured for the Catalan giants since the 2021-22 season as he was first loaned out to AC Milan in the summer of 2022 before joining the Dutch giants on another loan spell ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.

The 23-year-old appeared in 37 games across all competitions this season for his club where provided seven assists and scored twice. The club, at one point, considered making the defender's move permanent for a reported €10m fee, however, they will now consider their options before moving ahead with the offer.
