WHAT HAPPENED?
A Julian Alvarez double, a goal from Phil Foden and an own goal from Fluminense defender Nino saw the Premier League team become the world champions with a win in Saudi Arabia. FIFA president Gianni Infantino handed over the trophy to City captain Kyle Walker and the players went wild in celebration.

City's latest win marks the end of a fantastic year for Pep Guardiola's team. They had already won the Premier League, FA Cup, Champions League and UEFA Super Cup before claiming the Club World Cup trophy – thus becoming the first English team to claim all five trophies in a single calendar year.
